3d printed components

Recently got a 3d printer and playing around with how I can use it in combination with grid beams and grid panels. Excuse the bad quality prints, I’m just using up some old filament.

Led Strip holder

2x1 Bracket - not particularly strong. needs more bracing

plywood supports. flared base provides friction fit. Quite strong.

the height of the flat makes the top of the 18mm plywood align to the 40mm grid

testing out in a shelf unit.

inserts for 8mm holes to hold M6 bolts. very strong in wooden beams, but tricky to remove if inserted flush to hole face. difficult to know when the limit is before over tightening.

Newer versions than this pic have a slightly internally-flared base to provide additional friction. Also have a wider gap. Learned that 8mm drill bits make different sized holes depending on the material.

Also tried a little box, but it was very difficult to tighten the bolt as the box was in the way of screwdriver. Perhaps a little indent in the front face so the driver can reach? ───╮ ╭───

I’m keen for any suggestions on what to make next.
