Ramen Cart

I had an idea that I would like to create a food cart, using recycled materials to bring to Kiwiburn. Ramen is the food I am best at making so It was the goal that guided the design. The design was built to mount on a flat bed garden cart which means the frame pieces can be used for other portable designs.

  • Recycled T&G Matai front panel for a rustic feeling
  • benchtop made also from the same but trimmed, joined finished and mounted with insert nuts
  • Soft close drawer, drawer runner adapter panels made for specific grid unit depth.
  • heatproof trough drawer for housing the gas cooker.
  • over head gantry for hanging lights with custom hacked 5v fairy lights to use USB power.

Very nice to see it kitted out!

If you have any recipes to share id love to see them… :slightly_smiling_face:

How did the draw runner adaptor work?

What would you improve for v2?

I’m about to start working on a grid beam down hill go-kart with some school kids… Hopefully can work out some good ways of attaching wheels and doing steering…
