I tried signing up on this forum with an email address, and the confirmation email never reached me. Perhaps the email configuration for this forum is broken somehow? I run a small independent email server (not one of the big-corp email providers that reject email willy-nilly) on my end, and usually have no trouble receiving email.

Not sure if that’s relevant though. It should be possible to get emails working on this forum without having to finish constructing https://www.gridkit.nz/. Perhaps the emails were just missed out.

Thanks for looking into this. I guess email notifications for new replies are also not working. So, people are missing replies to their post, or forgetting to check back.
I figured out what was wrong: SendGrid changed their pricing so that the free plan became a 2-month free trial, and since we were on a free plan before, our new free trial elapsed. I moved to Mailgun, which has a free plan. The server should now send new emails, and existing email jobs that were still active are slowly being re-tried and sent. 
I can confirm I’m now getting emails about replies here. Thanks @mikey !
I’m getting email notifications now as well (including for older replies that I guess are being flushed out of the queue). Thank you!
